Intrigued by the escalator in her "Corduroy" book, Skyler decided she would ride on one today. Jerry and I took her to the Brea Mall where she nervously took her daddy's hand and stepped on. The first time, she had her feet on different steps and it reminded us of that scene in "Elf". It was funny. But after 2 or 3 times she got the hang of it and was getting on and off the escalator like an old pro.
